MAYFAIR CATERING GOLD FOR RECYCLING – IN 2023 WE HIT AN 92% RECYCLING RATE!!

We are incredibly proud to be awarded gold status again for our recycling efforts in 2024. This is the third year in a row we have been awarded Gold Certification, each year our recycling rates have grown, from 88% in 2023 to 92% in 2024. A result of a huge amount of work by everyone in the team. Chefs have rewritten menus to reduce food waste and increase seasonality, front of house managers have worked tirelessly to effectively partition all waste into 4 recycling streams. The net result is an incredible 92% recycling rate.

This means we have diverted 34.4 tons of waste from landfill to reuse, and thereby avoided sending 26.9 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
