We are incredibly proud to be awarded gold status for our recycling efforts in 2023. A result of a huge amount of work by everyone in the team. Chefs have rewritten menus to reduce food waste and increase seasonality, front of house managers have worked tirelessly to effectively partition all waste into 4 recycling streams. The net result is an incredible 88% recycling rate.

This means we have diverted 34.375 tons of waste from landfill to reuse, and thereby avoided sending 27.34 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. 2024 will be even better with initiatives like; using mugs made entirely of recycled material in our RCN Café, sourcing English only wine in some of the conference venues we service etc.
